The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
