Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in electricity outages in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and encountered interruptions to water supplies, according to local authorities.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Moscow has increased attacks on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while the country's government has requested "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, European nations and the major economies - in supplying defensive weapons and enforcing penalties," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and over thirty rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.

A barrage of missiles struck energy infrastructure and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Several of the people injured in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to local officials.

The assaults follow periods of aerial attacks in the territory, sections of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

The whole nation is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to identify.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already affecting energy systems.

Officials stated utility staff and officials were anticipating further attacks.
