The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences growing in power within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will branch out from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might appear mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to go next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could enable the team access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to head to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
